Good morning and happy Friday! We had a very active day out to the west as multiple tornado warnings were issued but the line weakened as it reached the state. A few storm reports came out in southern Indiana, but we saw mostly heavy rain and lightning here in Central Indiana.
The day starts with cloudy skies, but anticipate sunshine breaking through, bringing brightness to the afternoon ahead. After experiencing temperatures in the 70s and 80s for the past four days, today marks a shift as highs rise into the lower 60s.
The weekend will be pleasant, however, it will be slightly cooler under a mostly sunny sky. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50’s but expect to see an abundance of sunshine.
Seventy-degree weather returns to Central Indiana on Tuesday but that also comes with storm chances. We will fall back into 60s throughout the week.
