Looking to earn some extra cash? As the cost of living tightens, many workers are in search of a side hustle to stash away a few extra pennies.

Now, a study has revealed the highest-paying side hustles across the world – and the winner could earn you up to £170 per day.

In 2022, data showed that 47% of UK adults were considering taking on a second job on top of their 9-5, with the trend particularly prominent amongst young adults aged between 25 and 34.

More than two-thirds of this cohort reported contemplating a side hustle of some form, including being paid to take online surveys, selling items on second hand sites or making handmade goods.

Analysing thousands of publicly available job adverts on Fiverr to identify the highest-earning side hustles across the world, the study, from NetCredit, found that web design came out on top in the UK.

This could earn you up to $220.15 (approximately £173) per day.
