“What you put in your profile pictures and personal information is so crucial,” popular dating coach Erika Etting said. “There really is a strategy to it.”

Etting should know. Thirteen years ago, she gave up her job in the corporate world to start her dating coaching business, A Little Nudge, after her friends started asking her what was her secret to having success of her own getting good dates via dating apps.

Etting has several simple rules to follow. “On the dating apps, keep your profile information short and sweet. Quirky is good and a key to success, because people want to see authenticity, like who you really are as a person.”
