Three nursing homes allowed to do in-facility transfusions [Video]

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Three Western New York nursing homes have been approved to provide in-facility blood transfusions to residents. Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville and Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda are the only nursing homes in the state that are authorized to provide the treatments.

Registration is now open for the 42nd annual JPMorgan Corporate Challenge in Buffalo. The 3.5 mile team run takes place on Thursday, June 13th at Delaware Park.
