NFL legend Tom Brady has helped Birmingham City’s dreams of a new stadium move one step closer to reality.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner became a minority owner in the Championship soccer club last summer.
Brady joined in partnership with investment group Knighthead Capital Management to expand his impressive business portfolio across the pond.
The group has struck a deal to buy a 48-acre plot just one mile from Birmingham’s historic St. Andrews stadium, per the BBC.
The Blues intend to build a state-of-the-art stadium on the site, along with new training facilities and what it calls “a range of entertainment options.”
