Tracking Rain to Start the Weekend [Video]

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A nice end to the week and beginning to March across New England! After a cold start, temperatures rebounded into the lower and middle 40s thanks to mainly sunny skies. Still brisk, but a seasonably mild start to the month.

High clouds have already moved in tonight and a southerly breeze continues, so expect milder temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s through sunrise. Dry conditions continue into Saturday morning for most, though the Berkshires may see a rain or snow shower near sunrise.

Our next weather maker is a weak area of low pressure moving in from the southwest Saturday. This low will bring a chance for showers in the morning, then a steadier rain by the afternoon.
