The pressure from anti-war protests is not easing up on American college campuses as classes begin wrapping up for the semester.With commencement ceremonies fast approaching, many college campuses across the country are hosts to a protest movement that began at Columbia University and has spread from coast to coast, including in our region.Over the weekend, encampments were set up at both the University of Vermont and Middlebury College as students in Vermont joined the growing cries for an end to violence in the Middle East.The encampment on the Andrew Harris Commons at the University of Vermont grew overnight since it was pitched on Sunday, with students holding a protest over one of its key demands that the University cancel its commencement speaker Rep.
