Vodafone Ireland appoints Elizabeth Headon as external affairs director [Video]

Vodafone Ireland has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Headon as external affairs director.

Headon will manage Vodafone’s external relationships with key stakeholders including media, regulators and government, and she will also be responsible for corporate security, privacy, legal affairs and the Vodafone Foundation.

Headon joins from Bus Éireann where she led corporate communications, and she was previously CEO of the Digicel Foundation Haiti.

She has also held director and senior positions with leading Irish businesses, including a ministerial appointee to the board of Horse Racing Ireland and senior independent director of Kenmare Resources.

Vodafone said Headon brings a wealth of experience across corporate communications, external affairs, government relations and governance in the public and private sectors.
