This morning is mild with a very limited shower chance out-the-door, while temperatures hover in the upper 50s. Expect a really great start to the morning rush and beginning to the new month of May.
This afternoon, clouds will thin and warmth will build statewide, as southwest winds turn breezy from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Temperatures will likely reach 80° in downtown by early evening.
A spot shower chance is possible early evening in a few counties…otherwise, a nice, mild evening ahead.
A few spotty storms will be possible very early Thursday morning before warmth returns again for the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 80s, as dry weather holds statewide…could be the warmest day, so far, of 2024.
Friday will bring a more solid effort for rain and storm chances statewide, as temperatures pull back into the 70s through the afternoon.
