Forecast: A stormy Easter weekend | Weather [Video]

Good morning, and happy Saturday! Temperatures for the start of your holiday weekend will be feeling more like summer than spring. High temperatures today will reach 71 degrees with a mostly sunny sky, making today the best day of the weekend to do outdoor Easter activities.

Starting tonight, the first of many rain chances begin in the area. A few showers will roll on in during the overnight hours tonight, but the main threat for showers and storms will be Sunday afternoon and Monday evening.

Sunday: Storms will begin to fire up on Easter Sunday around 9 a.m. and last through the afternoon. Thunderstorms will fire up north of Interstate 70 and track into northeast Missouri and into Illinois with the main threat being large hail.
