IPB Insurance funds business course for social enterprises [Video]

Applications are now open for the next round of the ‘Start a Social Enterprise Business Course’, which is funded by IPB Insurance.

The course was developed part of Rethink Ireland’s Social Enterprise Development Fund.

In 2022 and 2023, 200 social entrepreneurs participated in the course, and 20 projects were awarded seed funding.

The six-week online course aims to help social enterprises build a strong foundation and essential skills.

Participants in the course have a chance to pitch their ideas while applying for follow-on business support and a bespoke accelerator programme.

IPB Insurance said it will be investing another €200,000 over the next two years. This funding will bematched by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
