Output Sports eyes Red Sox collaboration after Boston expansion [Video]

Output Sports is seeking to collaborate with the Boston Red Sox, one of the leading teams in baseball, after expanding to the US.

The sportstech firm announced its investment in the state of Massachusetts with an event at the Red Sox’s Fenway Park attended by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar as part of his programme of events in Boston with Irish companies scaling in the US.

Output Sports’ products are designed to help strength and conditioning coaches, sport scientists and rehabilitation professionals to fully understand and optimise their athletes’ performance using a single wearable sensor system.

The UCD spin-out has onboarded 300 American clients, including teams in the NFL, WNSL, MLB, NHL, WNBA and NBA, since launching its V2 product in late 2022, facilitating the move to Massachusetts.
