It’s Portland’s first appearance in the conference final since 2015, when they lost in 6 games to the Kelowna Rockets. It’s Prince George’s first appearance in the final since 2007, when they lost in 5 games to the Vancouver Giants after pulling off what at the time was the biggest upset, by point difference, in WHL history, a 6-game win over the Everett Silvertips.
