Vermonters worry about loss of Affordable Connectivity Program [Video]

One out of every 11 households in Vermont could soon feel a pinch to their budgets. That’s because the federal Affordable Connectivity Program that helps lower-income people afford their internet connections is running out of cash. Those affected people are now watching Capitol Hill for action.The Federal Communications Commission said without the $30 a month benefit, users may go without internet, divert money from other bills, or cut down on food or gas.
