When is the World Series banner ceremony for Texas Rangers? [Video]

ARLINGTON, Texas — The World Series champion Texas Rangers begin their season against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, March 28 for Opening Day.

The Rangers and Cubs will play a three-game series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, concluding with the second and third games on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. 

For the opening series, the Rangers will wear their gold-trimmed jerseys to commemorate the franchise’s first championship in history. Fans were able to purchase items from their “Gold Collection” on March 21 at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.

When does Globe Life Field open?

Globe Life Field parking lots will open at 2 p.m. and ballpark gates will open at 3:30 p.m. on Opening Day. The Rangers encourage fans to arrive early on opening day.
