New Orleans woman named Small Business Owner of the Year [Video]

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Women’s History Month gives us a chance to celebrate women’s achievements worldwide, and we’re also celebrating a local businesswoman who’s just received a big honor.

Iam Christian Tucker is the President and CEO of Integrated Logistical Support Incorporated. According to Tucker, “Outside of my business, of which I’m passionate about, I love getting involved in minority business opportunities, but moreso empowerment.”

Tucker is a former police officer who didn’t have to look very far for inspiration, it rested within her family.

“There’s a gentleman, that founded this company, my late father, Bob Tucker I would say he started this company, and he started my foray and my legacy and my passion as well. He’s the one that ignited it for equity,” said Tucker.
